This time, we want to share a bacon recipe which can make you want to eat this food again and again. Especially if you also love to cook chicken breast.
3 slices bacon
4 chicken breast, skinless and boneless (cut diced)
1 onion (diced)
3 large potatoes (peeled and diced)
3 cups chicken broth
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1 cup of milk
1 ½ cups biscuit mix
3 cups half-and-half
1 can whole kernel corn, drained and rinsed
Salt and pepper to taste
prepare a large, deep skillet and place the bacon in. Cook the bacon over medium-high heat until the color of the bacon is evenly brown. Drain and crumble the bacon; reserve bacon drippings in skillet.
Add chicken, onion, and diced potatoes to bacon drippings and cook for approximately 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Pour in 3 cups of chicken broth and also add seasoning with poultry, pepper, and salt. Stir in corn, and simmer all of the used ingredients for 15 minutes.
Pour in half-and-half and bring to a boil, add crumbled bacon.
Combine biscuit mix with milk in a big bowl and mix until the dough become thick. Drop some tablespoon sizes of dough into the boiling mixture. Then simmer for 10 minutes uncovered after reducing the heat, then another 10 minutes covered. It’s better to not stir while simmering because the dumplings will break apart.
Serve in a plate while hot.
