Bacon & Smoky Paprika Cauliflower Recipe

Paprika is a type of vegetable that is very good and is often used as a cooking ingredient. Paprika can be processed into a variety of dishes such as pan-fried, salad, or baked.

Paprika is rich in vitamin C and other nutrients such as vitamin B6, beta-carotene, thiamine and folic acid.

This bacon recipe is very good for the picnic or other events. Not only delicious, but healthy inside.

Bacon & Smoky Paprika Cauliflower

INGREDIENTS:

4 tbsp bacon grease

1 tbsp paprika (smoked paprika preferred)

1 head of cauliflower

Pepper and salt, to taste

Bacon crumbles (optional)

How to Make:

Prepare a pan. Put and fry the bacon on the pan. After that, remove from pan, set aside on paper towels (better in the freezer to get extra crunchy), reserve bacon grease.

Pull or chop cauliflower florets from base stem/leaves. Chop it into 2-3 inch clusters. Preheat the oven to 375 degree.

Flash fry paprika in bacon grease on low heat approximately 3-5 minutes, or until paprika blends with oil and becomes sauce-like.

Fry large pieces of cauliflower in another pan for 5 minutes (keep the little crumbles separate for now), stirring to coat in paprika oil.

Transfer cauliflower to the oven (use  Breville BOV800XL Smart Oven or  Cuisinart TOB-40 for better result ), adding small pieces, and bake additional 15+ minutes, until your desired tenderness. Stir it halfway to recoat cauliflower.
